Figures 32.1 and 32.2 show the 18 instruments (two Sequence boxes each containing nine instruments, with the nine instruments consisting of three Sound boxes in a Chord Group repeated three times by the containing Repetition Group) of track 7 (see Fig 30.1) being computed. The term instrument here is used as a generic term for a Harmonic or anti-Harmonic; the number of instruments computed can differ from the number of Sound boxes computed, as each Sound box can potentially contain multiple Harmonic and/or anti-Harmonic instruments.
