Clicking on the search button next to one of the graph edit fields of figure 5.1 — in this case the Volume graph edit field — results in the dialog shown in figure 6.1. Graphs stored on the database are shown visually if the Show graphs checkbox is checked; otherwise, just the graph names are listed.

The piano graph, shown partly in red, has exceeded its y-axis maximum value. The program has validation to stop such graphs being saved; this is there as a result of evolving software.

The piano2secsint graph has an integer segment (coloured green) based on a non-integer graph segment, which is coloured yellow.
